Tamil Film 3BHK Promises a Heartfelt Ride
In a year when big Tamil films have faltered, small-budget stories like Tourist Family have found box office success. Hoping to follow that trend is 3BHK, releasing this Friday. Starring Siddharth, Sarath Kumar, Devayani, and Meetha Raghunath, the film explores the emotional journey of a family chasing their dream of owning a home.
Director Sri Ganesh, inspired by a short story, focuses on the emotional weight of middle-class aspirations. “Buying a home defines a lifetime for many,” he says, confident that the film’s emotion-first approach will resonate with audiences.
With music by Amrit Ramnath and cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan B and Jithin Stanislaus, 3BHK aims to strike a chord, much like classics such as Suryavamsam and Anandham. Siddharth, who also sings in the film, says the role was deeply personal and praises Sri Ganesh’s writing: “Cinema is a writer’s medium.”
3BHK releases alongside Ram’s Paranthu Po, making this a special week for Tamil feel-good cinema.
